1:19. പ്രവാചകവാക്യവും അധികം സ്ഥിരമായിട്ടു നമുക്കുണ്ടു. നേരം വെളുക്കുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ ഉദയനക്ഷത്രം ഉദിക്കയും ചെയ്‍വോളം ഇരുണ്ടു സ്ഥലത്തു പ്രകാശിക്കുന്ന വിളക്കുപോലെ അതിനെ കരുതിക്കൊണ്ടാൽ നന്നു.

1:19. Moreover, we possess the prophetic word as an altogether reliable thing. You do well if you pay attention to this as you would to a light shining in a murky place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

1:19. Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place-- until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts.

1:19. And we have the word of prophecy made more sure; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts:

1:19. And we have something more sure, the prophetic word, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,

1:19. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
